Privacy Policy.

When you submit a form on this site (for example, the contact form or the international inquiry form), we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone or messaging-app identifier, preferred contact channel, neighborhood or country of interest, budget or timeline if you provide them, and the contents of any message you write.

This site also offers an automated chat assistant. It identifies itself as automated when the conversation begins. If you choose to share them during that conversation, we collect the same kinds of details a form would capture — your name, a way to reach you, and what you are looking for — along with the messages you write. You are never required to use the chat to reach us; the contact details in section 11 reach Brian directly.

We do not currently use cookies or analytics platforms to track you across the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and disclose what is collected.

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to connect you with Brian for a real estate conversation, and to maintain a record of correspondence as required by Washington real estate rules. We will not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

Form submissions are stored in a private database hosted on Supabase (Amazon Web Services US-West region). Access is limited to Brian, authorized assistants under written confidentiality, and authorized representatives of Windermere Real Estate Co. as required for brokerage supervision. Backups are encrypted at rest.

We may share your information with a small number of service providers needed to deliver real estate services to you — for example, a mortgage advisor or escrow officer when you ask for an introduction. We will tell you before sharing and obtain your consent where required.

We may also disclose information when required by law, by court order, or by the rules of the Washington Department of Licensing, Northwest MLS, or our managing broker.

We use an artificial-intelligence service to power the automated chat assistant on this site and to prepare first drafts of emails and messages that Brian reviews before sending. When that happens, the information involved is sent to that provider so it can generate the reply or draft.

For the chat assistant, that is the messages you write and any details you choose to share in the conversation. For Brian’s own drafting tools, it is limited to the details needed to write a relevant message — your name, city, what you are looking for, and Brian’s notes about your conversations. Your email address and phone number are not sent to the AI provider.

Our provider’s commercial terms state that customer information is not used to train its models. No decision about you is made automatically: the assistant routes you to Brian, and every message drafted with AI assistance is read and sent by a person. If you would rather we did not use these tools in connection with your inquiry, tell us and we will handle it manually.

We retain inquiry records for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide services and to comply with record-retention requirements under Washington real estate law (currently three years from the close of any related transaction). After that, records are deleted or anonymized.

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your information (subject to record-retention rules above). Send requests to bgriffin@windermere.com.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

The site is operated from the United States. If you submit a form from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection law may differ from the law in your home country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Material changes will be noted at the top of the policy.
